Mini update

As I mentioned, Puka is level 85 and has heroic gear.  For the time being I've maxed my herbalism and is working on getting my mining up.  I should be maxed some time today.  I've made aboue 2k in gold just by selling the flowers.

The flowers will help with my alt toon, Champange who is an alch. and the loot from mines will go to my wife who's a jewel crafter.

5-man

First off, thanks to a bunch of my guildies for the past couple of nights for the runs.
I usually get in-game around 7:30 - 7:45 pm nightly, after my two girls go to bed.... or at least try to.

When I login, there's someone asking me if I want to run an instance... since I'm just recently hit 85, my answer is yes.  We didn't plow through the instance but we didn't take forever either.  It was a nice pace, learning the encounters and having fun with friends.

Then last night, I was asked if I wanted to heal.. I will admit, I was AFRAID because it has been some time since I've healed on the druid on any new content.

We had a great tank and dps... I enjoyed healing and got comfortable going into our second run of the night.  All in all, it has been a fun couple of nights running regular 5-man.... with 1 or 2 more drop, I could start doing heroics.

I can play with the big kids now!

Last night I was at 84 and ran a couple of instance with my guild which got me half way to 85.
Today, thanks to my wife and my kids being entertained enough I dinged 85!

 The last of my dailies in Deepholm before I dinged.

Tha magic number 85, it was a nice ride... now off to SW to get training and start on the TH chain quest.

I wouldn't mind having this as a mount... can you imagine seeing laser chickens all across the world in one of these babies....

Time for me to work on my profession and running 5-man to gear up for heroics.

Anyways, this zone reminds me of a bad mix of Stargate & Thundercats... it's not a bad thing.
Right off the back, I start off with 17 quests in my log.  Now that's a way to start a new zone!

Just dinged 84 and it's time to rest up in SW, until my next post....

Space Mountain

No, I'm not talking about the ride at Disney... I'm referring to Deepholm.
I'm half-way through 83 and as mentioned in an earlier post, I HATE these last 2 levels.

Well, I just opened up a bunch of daily quests on Space Mountain... I'll continue my leveling tomorrow night.  Between work, kids and Christmas... I'm beat!

83

Logged in tonight on with the intent of hitting 83... questing my furry butt off in Deepholm, which kind of reminds me of being on a planet in outer-space, anyone else get that feeling?!?

Just dinged 83, took the portal to SW to sell all of my junk, reforged some request reward items.  Then I realized, I have only 1 epic left, my shoulders and that will be replaced soon enough.  I have yet to run any 5-man, I should take a night and run the two that I have in my quest log.

Tonight I got done with questing in Hyjal, which I enjoyed all BUT the "Joust."
Hearth to Stormwind, where I jump through a portal to find..... THRALL!

Time to put factions aside and let the past go...  talk to Thrall (it's not like I had a choice in the matter, he had a quest for me)

Off I go into the middle of Maelstrom.  Landed there, picked up the starter quests and decided to log for the night. . . I'm half way to 83.  Tomorrow night, I'll queue up for Blackrock while I'm questing.

Joust and Giveaway

My third night of leveling, a little over half way to 82 at the typing of this.  I'm enjoying the zone and questline BUT 1.. Remember the old arcade game Joust, well my friends we get to play it again in WoW.  IT SUCKS!

I cheated, I parked my butt on one of the platforms and waited for the birds to fly close enough for me to get credit.  Prior to this, I spent about 20 minutes flapping my damn bird (up & down, up & down) and only killing 1.  So here I am.

It's time to get back to leveling, I want to hit 82 tonight and hopefully move on to the next zone.

It has started

Well it's not Friday... but I was able to get the xpac last night.  I spend maybe 2 hours leveling in Hyjal, just getting use to the lay out.  During beta, I leveled up in Vash and moved on... wanting to try a new area and with better rep rewards, Hyjal here I am.

Tonight I hit 81, wasn't too bad.  The quest line and story is interesting and fun.  What's been nice is the respawn rate is still high and there's only a few people leveling.  So I don't have much down time as far as flying around from point A to point B.  So far, my mana regen has been great... I've been able to chain pull multiple mobs at a time.

I forgot to take some screenshots, I'll remember tomorrow.... check back, I'll post more in details and there will be a GIVEAWAY post up here this Saturday.

Cataclysm Delay

I can honestly say this sucks!  Due to out of ordinary circumstances, I wasn't able to get Cataclysm like half the world did on the 7th.... instead I will have to start my leveling adventures in 10 days.

I was looking forward to leveling and running instances with my members of my guild.  For some reason with this expansion I was looking forward to the most compared to the last two.  I haven't been in MotD for very long but I have come to respect and enjoy playing with each of them.

I HATE leveling, with a passion... my wife can confirm this!  With Cataclysm, I had a feeling I was really going to enjoy the leveling process because I'll be doing it with my guild.  Since that won't happen, I'll probably end up rushing through content trying to get to 85 asap.  I hate to be the last man standing and in 10 days, I will probably try to plow through content to get to 85 to catch up with the rest of my team-mates.

For the time being, I'm leveling a lowbie gnome priest.  I'm enjoying it because the xp is coming fairly quickly and most of the quests are new so far.

Cataclysm almost there!

****UPDATE****  Due to unforeseen circumstances I will not be getting Cataclysm until next week.

Well folks, I'll be staying awake and waiting to get my copy of Cataclysm tonight at midnight.


But I will not be playing, since I'm on EST I won't be able to start leveling until 3 am.  It'll just have to wait until I get home from work and get my girls into bed.
